Halloween Part Deux

Okay... So now for some updates. Shelby is now 26 inches long and weighs over 15 pounds now! Yikes! I can't believe it's already been 4 months!!! She sits up now all by herself and has been teething for some time. Her gums are always swollen now...poor baby. But she sure does love her teething rings! :-) She is VERY vocal (just like her mama) and is very rarely silent. She is always cooing and gagaging and just making all sorts of noises. She is a very pleasant baby. We have lots of fun playing with her. She can now pull herself up into a standing position with some assistance (i.e. the couch, her car seat, her mama, her dada, the tv stand, her jumper, etc. ) I have a feeling she's going to be an early walker as well. We'll see. No reason to rush...once she starts walking I know she'll be running really soon after. As for her parents...we are so in love with our little angel. She is so much more than we ever imagined and we love every minute we have with her.

The Pumpkin Patch

Today was a very adventurous day. First off we went to the Pumpkin Patch! It was absolutely thrilling since I don't think I've ever gone (at least I don't remember) and it was a lot of fun getting to pick out pumpkins! 

Today was also Shelby's first time at the Pumpkin Patch and from what you can see...She was definitely having a lot of fun.

Our next stop was the DMV. While Geoff and I goofed off....

...Shelby just slept through it all. :-) 

A short trip to Sacramento

I've always been a water kind of gal so once again i am in the water. And the Shelbster is on the Alligator! Rachel, Tina and Zachary were in on the fun too. 

Mary's First Hair Cut

Today was Mary's very first professional Haircut! It was so much fun! 

I of course joined in on the fun too!

Right afterward we went to our friend Tina's House and did some relaxing in preparation of a very fun filled evening. We went and saw HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3!!!! It was actually very good and we had a blast! 

A trip to Grammy's

Growing up I always got a really cool Rainbow Bright Doll. It makes me so happy knowing that Shelby got to play with one too! 

For those of you that don't know...this is a picture of me when I was 7 years old. :-) Wow. I know. I hope Shelby looks more like her Daddy.

October 19 and 20

My wonderful husband and gorgeous daughter joined me on an adventure to Oakridge mall. We began our adventure at the sunglass hut! Here is Geoff sporting some awesome shades!

Shelby got to do some urban four wheeling in the parking lot (we just had to test out the stroller) 

We then headed to Verizon Wireless to get some new phones

October Adventures

We started off the month of October with lots of extracurricular activities. A friend of ours needed some serious help fixing her jeep so we spent every night at her house working on her jeep (when I say we, I mean Geoff worked on it while Shelby and I hung out). 
Shelby got tired and decided to take a nap. Me being such a good mother, I protected her from the sun. :-)
She really loves to stand up so here she is standing up on my belly. 
My parents came into town and were staying at Grammy's house so Geoff, Shelby, and I dropped in to say hello.

Well just a little update. Shelby is 25.5" long and weighs 14 pounds 10 ounces and is growing really fast. She's starting to grab things and is much more aware of everything going on around her. She's been teething for a while but now you can tell she'll be getting a tooth soon since her gums are so swollen and she's always gnawing on her teething ring. She's so special. :-)
