3 Months Old

My little party pooper is 3 months old now. Wow. Time sure flies by. At this rate she'll be 18 and moving out before I blink. lol. I love my little Angel. She's the best thing I could have ever asked for. She loves to laugh and loves to smile. She also loves her Mommy. :-) 

She's so strong. This is her bouncey toy that she will literally sit in for like an hour. She LOVES it. :-) That little lady bug on the left gets hit a lot because it plays a song. And then she dances. 

She loves to just look at the world. She is perfectly content just staring at everything. But she likes change. She needs to be outside for at least an hour a day or she goes crazy. It's really funny. 

Shelby made some new friends. Here she is with Twins Aiden and Gavin. They're 13 days younger than her but they are really big boys. They already weigh 13 pounds each. I'm not sure how much Shelby weighs but I'm pretty sure it's around 13 pounds. 

This is Shelby with Gavin looking at the camera going "What's with all the pictures?" Look how long her legs are and her arms. She may be lighter than the boys but she is definitely longer. This is where she takes after her Daddy. 

Shelby and I like to visit Rachel, Zachary and Tina at least once a week. Here's Shelby with Rachel. Little Miss Rachel LOVES babies. :-) She's always very eager to see the Shelbster. 

Airplane!!!! Look how straight her back is. lol. She LOVES doing the airplane move with her Daddy. Mommy does it too but not nearly as high (I have T-Rex arms). 

Monkey Toes! My little Shelby is growing so fast and getting so long. She's getting little baby rolls but just barely. She's all arms and legs right now. Oh and toes. haha 

She was soooo tired she fell asleep sitting up with her bunny. Poor baby. Don't worry. I did put her in her crib and she slept very soundly for 2 hours. :-)

Smiley Baby! I'm telling you...this kid is just so full of life. She's always giggling and cooing and trying to roll over and LOVES standing up and if you hold her she'll walk the full length of the room. She loves to lift her legs up really high when walking. And she loves sunshine. She always wakes up with the biggest smile because she sees the sunlight from her window and is just so eager to go outside. She makes me take her on walks very regularly. :-) And currently I'm working on teaching her sign language so it's easier for us to communicate. Studies have shown that teaching a baby sign language actually gets them to talk sooner and creates a unique bond with the parents. Some babies will even sign with other babies. :-) So I'll keep you all posted on that. Anyways, that's my update for today. We will be doing her 3 month photo shoot on Sunday so I'll be posting up more pictures. 

Sleeping Through The Night

My wonderful, fantastic, super duper, awesome baby has been sleeping through the night AND last night was her first night in her crib and she slept the whole night!! I however, did not sleep. I must have checked up on her like 80 times. haha. I guess that's what we mom's do. :-) Anyways, SHE did superbly! No fussing or whining. After I fed her, I played with her for a while and then I saw her start to doze so I put her in her crib and she looked around for a while but nothing seemed out of the ordinary to her, so she just went to sleep. I've been putting her in her crib for nap time to make the move easier. So I will be starting to put her in her crib from now on. I'm sure some nights I'll sneak her into my room but for now, I'll be trying to put her in her crib. It was hard though. I couldn't sleep since I'm so used to having her next to my bed and listening to her breathe. It was the weirdest thing not having her there. I'm such a mommy now! I love it!

Lily's House

Boredom ceases to exist in the home of Lily, Danny, Adina, and Ezekiel. lol. Lily has TONS of kids (Don't worry...they're not all hers) *wink* This is a sneak preview into her daily life (from left to right: Adrien's bum, Adina reaching forward getting ready to crawl off the couch, Ezekiel holding up Shelby, Shelby being supported by Ezekiel, and Cameron being cute as a button!

Shelby is always trying to do things like EVERYONE else. Kids are sponges. Here she is being a copy cat. She saw Adina standing so she HAD to stand too. :-)

I think Ezekiel has lots of love for Shelby. I'm hoping that someday they will marry and have babies, because then Lily and I can be Mom's together and Grandma's together. :-)

SEE!!! He's holding her hand. lol. Just can't get enough of my little Shelby. :-)
