So much has happened since our last Blog Update. First of all...Shelby is almost 8 months old!!! Wow! Where did the time go? She is getting so big and is so smart and I love my little munchkin.
Here we are just relaxing at home having a great day just hanging out. She is so special. She can sit by herself now without any support. She's been crawling backwards since she was about 6 and a half months old but has finally started moving forwards. She can pull herself up to a stand but after a few minutes lands on her booty (at least it is well padded). She is VERY vocal. She says dada, daba, bada, baba but that's about it so far.
We took a day trip to Santa Cruz with Ivanna and Gabriela and had a blast. Shelby LOVES the outdoors and is such a happy baby when she is outside. Well, she's a happy baby in general but outside she's a SUPER happy baby. :-)
We love to eat out and one of our favorite restaurants to go to is BJ's. They have such good food and are super friendly. We brought the whole crew out one night to celebrate Shelby's 7 months! :-) I know...super corny but she's fantastic.
Shelby, Ashley and I made another trip to Santa Cruz and did lots of window shopping. Our first stop was my favorite restaurant...Saturn Cafe. :-) Then afterwards we cruised down Pacific avenue and had a lot of fun trying on all sorts of crazy things.
Shelby's first ride on the Carousel. Shelby, Ben, Mary and Ashley all went on the carousel for some midday fun.
Shelby loves going to Mel Cotton's because they have glass cases she can stand on and look at her feet and see things underneath them. She's always trying to grab the things in the cases. :-)
Shelby and I went to Sacramento for a few days and one of our activities was walking to the neighborhood park.
We love going to the mall and Shelby, Ashley and I took a trip and got free make overs at MAC and Geoff and Ben did some shopping of their own. But once we met up, Ben took over and let Shelby fall asleep on him. How cute. Oh yeah, and Geoff got his mohawk straightened. lol

Okay, so I ran downstairs to get laundry and when I came back up, this is how I found Shelby. She crawled from the living room to the kitchen and managed to wedge herself underneath this chair. TOO CUTE!
Ashley, Ben, Shelby and I went for a spa day. Ashley and I got manicures and then all 4 of us got really great pedicures. We all have neon toes, even Ben! :-)
Another park day. Shelby, Ashley, Dan and I went to Vasona for a nice walk. :-)
I'll do another update soon. Oh yeah. I almost forgot. Shelby's favorite activities now consist of... crawling, standing, climbing, gabbing, and PLAYING THE PIANO!! hahaha! I set up my keyboard on the floor and she LOVES playing it. AND she LOVES walking. If you hold her with one hand, she will walk EVERYWHERE!
